The Humble school district has also purchased a site for a future planned middle school in Summerwood.  Currently, Summerwood students attend Atascocita Middle School, a state-of-the-art campus located just minutes from the community.

Higher Education

For higher education, Summerwood is located only minutes from Lone Star College - Kingwood, part of the North Harris Montgomery Community College System.  And thanks to the convenient Summerwood location on Beltway 8, residents can easily access other colleges and universities throughout the Houston area.
